Transforming the fight against water waste with AI
How Venturus helped Enops Engenharia transition from manual leak detection to an autonomous, predictive monitoring ecosystem.

Case Context
40% of Brazil’s treated water is wasted
The water management sector in Brazil faces a critical issue: inefficiency.
Approximately 40% of treated water is lost before it ever reaches the consumer due to leaks, fraud, or infrastructure failures.
Enops Engenharia, a specialist in the maintenance of water and sewage supply systems, took on the mission to change this reality in the Campinas region.
The operational challenge
Enops’ original process was hindered by significant logistical and technological limitations:
In short: It was a slow, expensive cycle prone to human error
01.
Initial Sweep
Technicians had to physically travel to specific locations to perform checks.
02.
Analysis
Data logs were sent back to a central hub for manual evaluation.
03.
Double Confirmation
A second team was required to return to the same site to validate the leak.
04.
Human Dependency
Final confirmation relied entirely on a technician’s hearing and field equipment, with zero automation.

The solution
To solve this, we created a comprehensive intelligence flow operating on three distinct layers:
Continuous Monitoring
We developed proprietary hardware to monitor the network permanently. These devices measure pressure variations and "learn" the specific noise patterns of the piping.
Precise Localization
Upon detecting an anomaly, the system pinpoints the exact location of the leak and transmits the coordinates to the Operations Center.
Operations Center
All data arrives in seconds, allowing Enops to dispatch repair teams directly to the exact spot - immediately eliminating the need for exploratory visits.
