How we built a platform to manage EV charging networks
We developed Voltta, a digital platform that centralizes the management of chargers, charging sessions, data, and the different operators across the electric mobility ecosystem.

Case context
The growth of electric vehicles brings a challenge that goes far beyond manufacturing the cars themselves: building, operating, and connecting a charging network that can serve consumers, businesses, charging point operators, and energy companies.
Every charging session also generates data on energy consumption, equipment availability, and completed transactions. Without an integrated platform, managing this data, the charging infrastructure, and the different players in the value chain becomes a complex operation.
What we did
The solution
The goal was to create a digital product capable of connecting this entire ecosystem while enabling new services and business models for electric mobility.
As a result, Voltta supports everyone from drivers who need access to a charging point to the companies responsible for operating and expanding this infrastructure.

What Voltta does
Charger management
Centralizes information about the infrastructure and the equipment available across the network.
Charging session management
Monitors charging sessions across different charging points.
Data management and analytics
Collects and analyzes the information generated by each transaction, increasing visibility into network usage.
Management of owned and third-party infrastructure
Manages chargers owned by the organization itself or operated by partner CPOs.
Renewable energy
Manages contracts and the purchase of renewable energy used by the charging infrastructure.
Network interoperability
Connects with different networks to expand charging options for users.
Results
Integrated infrastructure management
Greater operational visibility
